Design Engineer

We know about the importance of good engineering and design. As major innovator in the field of scanning and indoor navigation we are constantly improving our hardware. We designs the most advanced indoor mapping device from the scratch, accompanies the entire engineering process until the final assembly in-house and we are looking for talented people to make it even better.
You have an excellent technical understanding and passion for good engineering. You love to work closely with our designers and develop perfectly elaborated products that are best for their future users.
Are you an expert in 3D modeling and love to design technical products in an interdisciplinary team of designers, engineers and robotic specialists? You can maintain complex CAD model architectures, part lists and drawing sets? You feel confident to work hands on and building prototypes with disk saw, bench drill and lathe machine to test and improve your designs? In this role you will develop new products and accompany your designs throughout the entire iterative product development process until they are assembled and ready for shipping.

 

You will work on:

  • Manage product development projects form the scratch
  • Take over CAD modeling and the creation of technical drawings
  • Maintain CAD architectures and part lists
  • Redesign existing hardware parts for better handling or manufacturability
  • Work hands on and build low and high level prototypes
  • Support our assembly team to improve the in-house production

 

You have:

  • A degree in mechanical engineering and/or industrial design
  • Relevant work experience in the field of mechanical engineering
  • Excellent comprehension for complex problems
  • Excellent technical understanding and problem solving skills
  • The view for the whole, an eye for the detail and sense for aesthetics
  • Structured and self-managed way of working
  • Fun working in a start-up where the people and working atmosphere matter

 

We are looking for experienced team members which are interested to relocate abroad.
The positions are based at Europe for a period of not less then 12 Months. Candidates must have 7-10+ years of experience on the required technology. You will get an excellent life style to live, and best opportunity to learn from technology leaders.
