Industrial Designer

We know about the importance of design and good engineering. As major innovator in the field of scanning and indoor navigation we are constantly improving our hardware. We designs the most advanced indoor mapping device from the scratch, accompanies the entire engineering process until the final assembly in-house and we are looking for talented people to make it even better.
You have an excellent technical understanding and you love to design perfectly elaborated products. You work user centered and you have a passion for design.
Are you an expert in 3D modeling and keen to develop technical products in an interdisciplinary team of designers, engineers and robotic specialists? Do you feel confident with up to date production techniques but you are not afraid to work hands on building prototypes with disk saw, bench drill and lathe machine? In this role you will develop new products and accompany your designs throughout the entire iterative product development process until they are assembled and ready for shipping.

 

You will work on:

  • Manage product development projects form the scratch
  • Develop user centered products
  • Take over CAD modeling and the creation of technical drawings
  • Redesign existing parts for better handling or manufacturability
  • Work hands on and build low and high level prototypes
  • Solve design challenges of our in-house assembly to improve production processes

 

You have:

  • A degree in industrial design and/or mechanical engineering
  • Excellent comprehension of complex problems
  • Work experience in the field of product development
  • Excellent technical understanding and problem solving skills
  • Sense for aesthetics, the view for the whole and an eye for the detail
  • Structured and self-managed way of working
  • Fun working in a start-up where people and working atmosphere matter

 

We are looking for experienced team members which are interested to relocate abroad.
The positions are based at Europe for a period of not less then 12 Months. Candidates must have 7-10+ years of experience on the required technology. You will get an excellent life style to live, and best opportunity to learn from technology leaders.
